Queen's Make Trade Fair campaign (MTF) works to promote and advocate for fair trade consumption on Queen's campus and beyond! Our campaign holds events - such as coffee taste challenges, professor debates, and fashion shows - to raise awareness among students and generate dialogue on the advantages of fair trade consumption. We also actively rally the Queen's administration to press for increased presence of fairly traded goods on campus, such as fair trade coffee in the cafeterias. By forming relations among students, administration, and local fair trade suppliers, Queen's Make Trade Fair seeks to make the issue of fair trade a central one, and to transform Queen's students from passive purchasers to educated consumers!
